Wow, the staff at Smiles of Round Lake are so awesome! I had a nervous little boy who broke off a good amount of tooth yesterday. I took him to see Dr. Lin, who saw us first thing this morning by the way. Dr. Lin examined my son's teeth and recommended that we use the least traumatic route of repair/protection for the tooth. The area needed to be "made sleepy", however, because it was a little sensitive. After Dr. Lin injected the novacaine, my son asked what Dr. Lin did - he didn't feel anything!! I've always considered Dr. Lin and staff to be very gentle, which is why we have been with them for several years, but this blew my mind!

Everything else about today's visit followed suit, was not traumatic at all for my little guy, and I walked away thinking that I would not notice that his tooth had been repaired if I didn't know it was broken.

Thank you, Dr. Lin and everyone at Smiles! I can't express how wonderful you are!

Been looking for a dentist in this area for 20 years now. Tried 2 close by and always end up back in Cook or McHenry County. The other ones around here tried to do unnecessary procedures like scrape gums etc. Later proven not to be needed as I knew at time and did not fall for it. Found Dr Lin a few blocks from my home a few years ago. He is the only honest dentist I have seen yet in these parts. There are not many left like him. Love his staff too. Always great people and fantastic service.

Better yet, they will tell you if an issue is significant or merely cosmetic, giving you the opportunity to decide what's best for you as a patient.

Had a cracked tooth at the gum line. Came in there was nervous but the Dr Hilehito was great the Best got the tooth out and keep me calm the whole time. The best will be back

I had a tooth filling today and as usually it was a pleasant experience . Dr Lin always make sure that you are comfortable and his ways and how he work with his hands is always gentle and no pain at all. also I set a schedule with my special needs son, he and his crew are professionals and know how to make things comfortable and less anxious with my son. they are compassionate and get things done with ease. I highly recommend Dr. Lin in Smiles of Round Lake. Thank You.

Dr. Lin is an excellent dentist, our entire family are established patients at Smiles of Round Lake. We always have a very pleasant experience with Dr. Lin and his staff. A few years back, my daughter had a bad experience at local pediatric dentist and was very anxious about her first appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Lin was very patient with her and spend a lot of time trying to calm her down, the staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Lin takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice, he’s the first dentist who paused to ask if anything hurt and it was the first time we experienced totally pain-free dentistry. We’re so blessed to have found Dr. Lin!

Dr. Lin is very gentle during procedure. He was so gentle that my husband fell asleep during his cavity fillings. The best thing is that Dr. Lin doesn’t just go ahead and do things to your teeth. He discusses the situation with you. Explaining what need to be done with your teeth and respect your decisions on them. My husband and I have been his loyal customers for many years before we moved away. I would definitely 100% recommend Dr. Lin.
